Neil Sharum’s practice is permeated with his affinity for fine art and story-telling. He began his career in the arts as a painter but soon thereafter shifted to photography when he fell in love with the darkroom process–where he traded painting with oils for painting with light. Informed by both his Master of Fine Arts Degree and respect for the history of photography, he lets intuition illuminate nuance and beauty in his subjects. Valuing equal parts humor and productivity, his calm and easygoing demeanor makes everyone on set feel comfortable and relaxed. Neil has worked with a variety of major brands, including Abercrombie and Fitch, BCBG, Herve Leger, Nasty Gal, Forever 21, Warby Parker, Beyond Yoga, Fabletics, 7 for All Mankind, Flaunt, Blanc, Schön!, Aknvas, and Lululemon.
